Roof Space was founded by Jakob Heider and Imanuel Schneider two friends from Germany who have known each other since elementary school. Their love for travel inspired them to create a roof top tent that not only met but exceeded their own high standards — without compromise.

Jakob, co-founder and CEO, is heavily involved in all areas of the company and personally drives strategic decisions, product development and customer relations. With his tireless hard work and passion for entrepreneurship, he lives his role as an entrepreneur to the full and strives to constantly develop the company and keep it on course for success. He cultivates a hands-on mentality and relies on innovative strength and entrepreneurial thinking to secure competitive advantages and promote sustainable growth.
Immanuel Schneider

As Co-Founder & Head of Product Development, Manu is always on the go and usually locked away in the office inventing the next roof tent revolution. He is constantly working on new improvements and always has great ideas at the ready— it's truly inspiring to see!
Roof Space America
In May, we initiated our expansion into the US and North American markets with the introduction of our innovative rooftop tents. Following a successful crowdfunding campaign, we are now focused on growth and are working diligently to raise awareness of our groundbreaking product.
