Adapt it to your needs
I did a lot of research before purchasing this tent. I do a fair bit of off roading, wandering to pretty remote areas in Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico. I hit a fair bit of brush and tree branches in my jeep so the biggest selling point for me was that this tent is totally enclosed in an aluminum shell. The weight was another factor. As far as hard shell tents go, this was the lightest I could find that has that feature. I’ve had it out in some rain (nothing severe) and mildly cold weather and it has kept me warm and dry. Takes about 5 mins to unfold and fully set up. Takes about 10 mins to pack up. Another great thing is the ability to leave my bedding in the tent while it’s packed. Saves a ton of time and space in the vehicle for other things. Only two things that are a minor inconvenience (for me anyways), I feel like the rear window should be screened or have the ability to unzip the plastic to be just a screen. That way on warm nights in the desert, you can open up the whole tent. The other issue is with the door. You have to unzip the main cover, then unzip the screen to enter/exit. Very minor gripes. For everything else this tent offers, very insignificant overall. Overhead skylight is nice and the zippers are sturdy and high quality. Definitely a top notch tent overall. Fits me and the kids easily. Perfect for solo trips as well. Plenty of room for clothes/gear too
Very well built and thought out!
I recently returned from a three-day camping trip where I tested this new tent. The setup and takedown process was impressively quick, taking only 10 minutes in total. I anticipate that with more practice, I could do this even faster. However, despite the advantages, there was a significant issue.
A small gap at the center of the tent, where the two halves join, leads to the outside. Although covered by an external flap, this design flaw had unfortunate consequences. My campsite had a few harmless brown beetles, which became an issue when they entered the tent at night. A thorough check revealed manufactured holes near the tent's hinge, allowing the beetles easy access. I've taken two photos: one with the flap closed and another showing the gap. Tucking the bungee cord corners beneath the aluminum shell helped, but some beetles still penetrated the rain guard.
I suggest that RoofSpace consider designing a Velcro cover for this gap to keep insects out. Aside from this issue, the tent performed wonderfully. The ventilation prevented condensation, the mattress struck a perfect balance between comfort and support, and the material of the tent effectively blocked sunlight, facilitating restful sleep even during the day.

Very well built, easy to setup, comfortable and plenty room ( for two adults)...This is my first rooftop tent and I'm glad I bought this product. Thanks for Ryan to respond to me very quickly to answer all my questions.
I purchased the roof space tent mainly because it would fit over the short bed of my Tundra without hanging over the back, or having to hang over the roof.
The quality is excellent and the build is solid.
It's easy to set up — it took me a few times to get the steps down, but I'd guess I could get it up and down in less than 5 minutes.
There is plenty of room for 2 with space for some gear.
The included mattress is a little firm for my liking, but I think I can resolve that pretty easily and there's plenty of room to add a mattress topper or another pad to augment it.
I am looking forward to lots of adventures with this setup!
